Nukezilla 101

Maybe RSS feeds are too mainstream for Tumblr to worry about? Either way, the RSS feed for the Nukezilla Tumblr is still not working quite right. One suggestion is that we’re not popular enough (sob) to be worthy of a working RSS feed.

So, sup Tumblrs. If you don’t know much about Nukezilla, here’s a 101:

Nukezilla is a gaming blog and used to be called Negative Gamer (we decided to to be the change we want, so renamed and now strive for quality over quantity)
There’s 20 or so people volunteering their time to make the site tick.
We produce more original content each week than the majority of popular blogs.
We like to experiment. Take our stacked Stacking review, for example.
Because news writing is super fucking dull and usually lessens the value of a site for the readers, we built Wire.vg to take care of that. This also means we’re a bit rubbish if you want news. We still write up what we find interesting though.
Our home page and general layout doesn’t suck, and once you’ve checked out 3 or 4 pages, you see no more adverts for the rest of the day. Adverts are ugly (on many levels).
Most of the articles we write are written because we enjoy writing them, not because we think you’ll enjoy reading them. That’s just a likely side-effect.

Obviously there’s more to the site than that, but where’s the fun if you can’t find out for yourself?
